Our Company was started in 1995 at Helsingborg, Sweden with 6 bulk carriers under technical management.
 
The Shore team was represented by Norwegians, Swedish, Russians, Indians, and the British.
International staff of professionals proved to be effective and capable of meeting ship management challenges of any degree.

NBMM’s first Managing Director Mr.Ragnar Bjornvold took great part in creation of Safety and Quality Management System of the Company. NBMM obtained its certification by DNV in 1997 and implemented the system onboard all managed vessels, flying Cypriot, Maltese and Bahamas flags.
 
In 1999 the Company moved to Cyprus having increased quantity of vessels under technical management up to 12 including 3 general cargo ships in addition to the bulk carriers. And again supplies, repairs, crew changes, budgets, tenders, profit and loss.

In addition to the routine issues dealt with by the Company team on a day-to-day basis there were events worth remembering, such as 5 handy size new buildings supervised in China, management and superintendence of LR2 tankers, emergency towing a ship disabled amid the North Sea to Riga Shipyard, life saving evacuation of crew by helicopter... Of course, the picture would not be complete without dealing with PSC deficiencies and passing through audits, both system and accounting.
 
Our team consists of 11 professional staff from Russia, India, Romania and Cyprus.
Currently we got 12 vessels under our management, which are 5 Bulk and 7 Unitized timber carriers.
